Ferry Beach Ecology Center
Poland Spring's partnership with Ferry Beach Ecology School (FBES) is an important part of the company's ongoing committment to ensuring the next generation have the knowledge and skills to be good water stewards. FBES is an independent educational nonprofit teaching the science and practice of ecology through experiential programs and publications. Every year, Poland Spring sponsors the sixth grade students from Poland, Minot, and Mechanic Falls, Maine to attend a three-day science education adventure at Ferry Beach. In 2011, Poland Spring also began sending Hollis-area 8th graders to FBES. Students learn ecology lessons outdoors - in the forest, on the beach and in salt marshes. The residential experience allows students to engage in hands-on learning- Students learn to work as a team and to solve problems collaboratively. Every part of the day provides an opportunity for students to connect with nature and with each other.

We take great care in selecting our natural springs to find the right sources where the minerals and the elements combine to create 100% natural spring water that meets our requirements. We work closely with communities around our sources.
